Megan is the founder behind Kaleidoscope Workshop. She has a background in Elementary/Secondary Education and mathematics. She has taught at various public and private schools in the area. She is the mom of three homeschooled girls and lives in Edgewater, MD.
Initially launched as XY&Z Learning, the business started by offering specialized homeschool curriculum. With the onset of the pandemic in 2020, Megan swiftly adapted by introducing engaging virtual classes and online parties, providing a creative outlet for kids and herself during challenging times. By 2021, Kaleidoscope Workshop expanded to include in-person events, bringing hands-on learning and themed parties to life. Now, in 2024, as the stacks of supplies began to outgrow her basement, Megan's dream of owning a dedicated space grew stronger with each "For Rent" sign she passed in the neighborhood. Fueled by this persistent vision, she finally decided to take the leap and secure her own location.

Ryan is our toddler and preschool activity leader. She is a mom of 5 who loves art and having fun! She enjoys hiking, going on adventures and spending time with her family and friends. She is so happy to be working at Kaleidoscope!

Arnia is a STEM Workshop leader. She is a college freshman majoring in mechanical engineering. She enjoys all things relating to SEM (especially robotics) soccer and travel. She is so happy to be working at Kaleidoscope.!

Anna is a mom of three and joins us as a toddler/prek facilitator. She also does birthday parties! She is actively engaged with the kids and loves doing sensory activities!
